Riesling's allure over other white wine is the necessary precision and attention to detail that goes into making this wonderfully versatile noble grape as well as maintaining its racy acidity and interestingly complex flavor profile.
Winemaker Bruce McGuire creates his Dry Riesling from grapes sourced exclusively from the Lafond Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills. A unique blend of calcium rich marine sediment and river deposited soil contributes to the fruit’s well-developed minerality.
McGuire limits the sugar levels, and uses stainless steel fermentation to highlight the bright fruit in this dry Riesling.

		Winemaker Notes
This Riesling was planted in 2006 to three recommended clones. We are one of the few growers of Riesling in the Sta. Rita Hills. Over the years, we have made 4 or 5 wines at different sweetness levels. This wine is dry and great before or with dinner. Asian and Indian food work well with the flavors. Orange blossom aromas lead to flavors of nectarine and apricot with bright acidity.
