The Lafond Vineyard Chardonnay is produced from our oldest block of Wente clone which shows great depth of flavor, length of finish, aromatic complexity, and a fine balance between richness and delicacy. Enjoy flavors and aromas of citrus fruit, vanilla, oak, and baked apple pie. This wine will continue to build richness as it ages in the bottle.
Aromas of honeysuckle, apple blossom and lemon zest are followed by soft accents of vanilla. Apricot and honeydew flavors flow across the palate, with lightly toasted oak, cool minerality and a lingering citrus note adding texture and depth. This wine is medium-bodied with a clean, persistent finish.
